Types of Roles
Providing an innovative dining, drinking and conference facility with theatrical flair requires a range of talented chefs and friendly servers over a range of levels and employment types.
The approachable Box Office team provide excellent customer service while proactively selling tickets in this customer-facing role offering fun and flexibility.
Often the hidden function of a theatre, these heroes make the show happen from assisting with the ‘get-in’ to managing the sound and lighting.
The marketing and promotions teams ensure our customers know about the broad-range of incredible events within the venues' many spaces in this busy but exciting department.
Administration and Management
Off the stage a gifted group of administrators, finance and management teams ensure the venues run smoothly.
Chef de Partie (casual)
Do you have a passion for food, the desire and ability to make a difference and solid organisation skills? We are looking for a casual Chef de Partie to join our friendly and productive team. They will assist our Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing the quality and standard of food as well as the day to day operation of the kitchen. Service from the kitchen includes (but is not limited to) a pre-show restaurant, sandwiches, buffets, 150+ cover events and private functions. Shifts will include evenings and weekends. Benefits include discounts with some local businesses and the opportunity to see some shows.

We are holding a recruitment evening at the Churchill Theatre on Monday 11 November 6pm to recruit Hospitality Assistants to join our busy Front of House team. This is a great opportunity for a strong team player to work in a fun environment! Benefits of the job will include the opportunity to watch shows when not on shift and discounts available with some of the local businesses within the area.
Hospitality Assistants offer exceptional sales through service in all of our front of house areas, including welcoming guests and operating till points in our bars/restaurants. Our ideal candidates will have a passion for offering the best customer service and a positive, can-do attitude. Shifts will include evenings and weekends.

Meet the team
We’re committed to training and developing our staff, preparing them for their next step in whichever direction that might be. Here’s the proof.
Sandra has been a staff member at the Churchill Theatre since 2013, with her initial role being a Front of House host. Sandra stayed in this role for four years before being promoted to Front of House Team Leader in 2017. A number of promotions followed in quick succession with Sandra becoming a Duty Manager in 2018 and then a Hospitality Manager in 2019.
