Creative Learning Week

Our award-winning Creative Learning Week returned to the theatre earlier this summer, bigger and better than ever before.
A collaborative festival that has ran at the theatre since 2012, this year’s Creative Learning Week included our own brand new Playwright Festival, the world premiere of a children’s ballet The Golden Key, the return of the hugely popular BandFest and 24 Hour Play Challenge and a fantastic week long work experience programme for eighteen young people aged 14-17.
We also hosted our annual showcase event where our in-house and resident performance companies, including Magpie, Slo Mo and the Churchill Theatre Singers were given the opportunity to present their latest works on a professional stage.
